Rajasthan Royals are sitting pretty at the top of the points table this Pepsi IPL 2015. However, their winning momentum has been disturbed a bit with two losses and a washed out game, against Kolkata Knight Riders. They are now on the road for an away game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Despite their winless record at home in this tournament, RCB remain a strong opponent for the Royals. Karun Nair, the Bangalore boy who plays for the Royals, looks forward to playing on his home ground and contributing to his team’s win over the Royal Challengers. “It feels good to be back home in the surroundings you know,” Karun said ahead of the match. “Playing RCB is a challenge that I am looking forward to. Hopefully, we can win this game.”

Karun was one of the leading performers for the Royals in the last season but has not quite struck form this year. He has had a couple of 20s and a 16 to his name. It is a trend the young batsman wants to change in this match. “I have got two-three good opportunities where I have had a lot of overs to bat. I have started off well but haven’t converted those starts, getting out on 20s and 30s. I would like to change that,” he said.
