Media Advisory Code of Conduct Breach Mumbai, 22 April, 2012 Munaf Patel of the Mumbai Indians has been fined 50% of his match fee for the Level 1 offences - making offensive gestures (Article 2.1.4) and conduct bringing the game into disrepute (Article 2.1.8) in today’s match at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai against King’s XI Punjab. Mr Patel admitted the offences and accepted the sanction. In accordance with the IPL Code of Conduct and being Level 1 breaches, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding.
